  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup apples peeled cored and shredded

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Mix first 5 ingredients together well. Then in a large bowl beat butter, sugar and 1 egg until smooth. Beat in second egg, stir in vanilla, then apples. Pour flour mixture into batter. Mix until moist. Pour into greased 9x5 inch pan. Bake 1 hr.
