  • 2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. chopped apples
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Add sugar gradually to eggs; eat until light and fluffy. Combine dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternately with oil and sour cream.

    Stir in apples, nuts and vanilla.

    Bake in loaf pan at 350° for 1 hour.

    Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan. Makes 2 large loaves or 4 small.
