  • 1 1/4 c. liquid Crisco
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. chopped apples (4 to 6)
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 heaping c. chopped nuts (more if desired)

Directions

    Mix flour, apples and nuts and set aside.

    Mix eggs, sugar, oil and vanilla together.

    Put in flour mixture.

    Bake at 350° for about 1 1/2 hours.
