Apple Pan Walnut Cake

  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • 2 c. flour (self-rising)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 c. cooking oil

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Spread pie filling in bottom of pan. Combine sugar and flour. Sprinkle over pie filling. In mixing bowl, combine eggs, vanilla, oil and 1/2 cup nuts. Mix well. Pour over ingredients in pan. Stir only until blended. Smooth batter evenly in pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes. Pour topping over warm cake.
