- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 4 eggs, separated
- butter for cooking
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and cut into thin slices
- confectioners sugar (optional)
Directions

1In a blender container, put the milk, whipping cream, flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.

2Beat the egg whites until stiff.

3Fold them gently into the batter.

4Melt a little butter in a 9-inch frying pan.

5Pour in a thin layer of batter. As the pancake begins to bubble, arrange some of the apple slices on top, pushing them into the pancake.

6When the bottom is browned, turn the pancake over.

7Finish cooking.
