- 3 Tbs. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbs. granulated sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 Granny Smith or other tart apple, unpeeled and thinly sliced
- 1 pear, unpeeled and thinly sliced
- 3 Tbs. prepared caramel sauce
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- Confectioners sugar, optional
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450F.

2Melt butter in 10-inch ovenproof skillet over medium heat.

3Stir in sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

4Add fruit slices, and cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently.

5Drizzle with caramel sauce.

6Meanwhile, beat together eggs, flour, milk and salt until smooth.

7Pour batter over fruit, tilting skillet to distribute evenly.

8Bake pancake 10 minutes.

9Reduce heat to 425F, and bake 8 to 10 minutes more without opening oven door.

10Remove skillet, sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired, and serve immediately.
