  • 2 apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. chopped pecans

    Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.

    Place apple slices in bottom.

    Beat eggs; add remaining ingredients, reserving a few pecan pieces, and mix well.

    Bake at 425° for 10 minutes, then at 300° for 1 hour or until set.
