  • 3/4 cups Salted Butter
  • 2-1/2 cups Chopped Celery
  • 2 cups Diced Onions
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 whole Diced Small Apples
  • 4 teaspoons Dried Sage
  • 2 teaspoons Dried Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 14 cups Dried Bread Cubes
  • 3/4 cups Chopped, Toasted Pecans
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Apple Cider

Directions

    In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; cook celery, onions, garlic, apple, sage, parsley and pepper for 10-15 minutes until vegetables are tender. Place bread and pecans in a large bowl; add celery mixture and toss well. Slowly add in chicken broth and apple cider until desired consistency is reached. You want the stuffing to be soft but not too wet.

    You can use this stuffing to stuff a turkey (follow your normal directions for stuffing and cooking a turkey) or bake it in a covered dish at 400 F for 20 minutes and then an additional 15 minutes uncovered.
