  • Two Pilsbury pie crusts
  • 8-9 medium apples
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 5 ml. Vanilla
  • 5 cc. Cinnamon
  • 45 cc. White flour
  • Juice of one lemon

    ["Thin slice apples into bowl and squeeze juice of lemon over the apples. Place butter and sugars in sauce pan and melt over medium/low heat. When melted add the vanilla, cinnamon, and flour. Bring to boil and let simmer on low heat while oven heats to 450 F. Roll pastry into a 9\" pie plate and bake for 5 minutes in the heating oven after forking the dough. Cut the 2nd pastry in strips for a lattice top. Pour the apples into the baked shell and make a lattice cover. Ensue the apples are heaped in the centre.
