- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 large can crushed pineapple
- 2 tsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip
- 1 c. cherries
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 4 large apples, diced with peeling
Directions

1Sift flour and sugar.

2Mix in pineapple with juice.

3Cook until thick (4 to 5 minutes).

4Add margarine or butter; let cool completely.

5Chop apples, one at a time; add to mixture.

6Add a little Cool Whip to mixture.

7Put in dish.

8Cover with remaining Cool Whip; top with nuts and cherries.

9You can put half of the nuts in mixture and the other half on top.

10Cool 24 hours.
