- 1/3 c. flour
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream, unwhipped
- 1/2 stick butter
- 6 diced apples
- chopped nuts and cherries
Directions

1In heavy boiler, combine flour, sugar, pineapple and whipping cream; cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter, stirring until melted.

2Refrigerate mixture to cool.

3Place apples in serving bowl; fold in flour, pineapple mixture.

4Garnish salad with nuts and cherries.

5Chill. Apples can be peeled or for more color, unpeeled.
