  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c. orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

Directions

    In a large mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, salt, spices and baking powder.

    Then in a small bowl, beat eggs, oil, orange juice and vanilla; then add to the flour mixture, mixing well.

    Pour into five 9-inch cake pans and bake at 350°.
