  • 3/4 c. maple syrup
  • 4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/4 c. softened butter
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 c. flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. undiluted evaporated milk
