- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 12 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup margarine, softened
- 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
- 12 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Directions

1Combine 1 cup flour,brown sugar and salt.

2Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs;Press into bottom of greased 9-inch square pan.

3Bake at 350F for 10 minutes.Mix together egg whites,sugar,2 tablespoons of flour and vanilla in a large bowl.

4Add coconut and butterscotch chips;Stir lightly to combine.

5Spoon coconut mixture over baked layer.

6Bake an additional 18 to 20 minutes;Cool before cutting into bars.
