- 12 cup butter (1 stick)
- 12 cup light brown sugar
- 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 2 eggs
- 23 cup sugar
- 13 cup apple juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 1 cup cake flour
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Place butter in a 9-inch round cake pan.

3Heat in oven until melted.

4Sprinkle in brown sugar.

6Arrange apple slices in pattern on top of brown sugar-butter mixture.
