Apple Walnut Bread Recipe

  • 6 c. All purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
  • 2 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 3 c. Lowfat milk
  • 2 x Large eggs, beaten lightly
  • 1 1/2 c. Golden brown raisins
  • 1 1/2 c. Walnuts, coarsely minced
  • 2 c. Finely minced apples

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt.

    Beat the Large eggs lightly, add in lowfat milk and stir into the dry ingredients, blending well.

    Stir in raisins, nuts and apples.

    Turn into 2 greased and floured loaf pans, 9x5x3 inches.

    Bake in 350-F oven for 1 1/4 hour or possibly till a wooden pick thrust into the center comes out dry with no dough clinging.
