- 1 c. oleo
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. applesauce
- 1 c. raisins, dredged in 1/4 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 3/4 tsp. soda
Directions

1Cream until light and fluffy oleo and sugar.

2Add applesauce, raisins and pecans.

3Sift together and add flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and soda.

4Pour into lightly greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your oven.

5This cake stays very moist.

6If you have nonraisin lovers, it will work without the raisins.
