  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c. white sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar and cinnamon together well.

    Add oil; mix like bread crumbs.

    (Do not over mix this part.)

    Remove 1 to 1 1/4 cups to be used on top of cake.

    Add rest of ingredients. Bake at 325° near top of oven for 45 minutes or when a toothpick comes out clean.
