  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. applesauce
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. raisins
  • 1 c. nuts

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar; then mix with applesauce.

    Add sifted dry ingredients, raisins and nuts.

    Beat and pour into buttered, floured loaf pan.

    Bake slowly 1 1/4 hours at 325°.

    Serve with whipped cream.
