- 2 c. unsweetened thick applesauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Beat egg yolks until lemony in color. Gradually add applesauce and honey.

3Beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff but not dry.

4Gently fold applesauce mix into egg whites.

5Pour into ungreased 1 1/2-quart souffle dish or casserole dish.

6Place in shallow pan of hot water.

7Bake 30 minutes.

8Serve at once.

9Excellent with potato pancakes.
