Ingredients
- 2/3 c. dried apricots
- 1/4 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Directions

1Rinse apricots.

2Cover with water and boil 10 minutes.

3Drain, cool and chop apricots.

4Set aside.

5Mix butter, sugar and 1 cup flour until crumbly.

6Pack into greased pan.

7Bake for 25 minutes at 350°.

8Sift 1/3 cup flour, baking powder and salt.

9Beat eggs; add brown sugar.

10Beat until well mixed.

11Add flour mixture, vanilla and nuts.

12Add apricots to egg-sugar mixture.

13Spread over baked layer.

14Bake for 30 minutes; cool in pan.

15Cut into squares and roll in confectioners sugar.
