  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1 lb. apricots or prunes, cooked and sweetened

Directions

    Cream Crisco, sugar, milk, vanilla and salt until fluffy.

    Add flour and oats and mix well.

    Set aside 1 cup mixture for topping. Pack remaining in ungreased 9 x 12-inch pan.

    Spread cooked and sweetened apricots or prunes in pan and sprinkle with the cup of reserved topping.

    Bake in a 325° oven for 25 minutes and enjoy.
