- 3/4 c. butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. apricot preserves
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Grease 9-inch square pan.

3In medium bowl, beat butter until creamy.

4Stir in sugar and brown sugar. Add flour, salt and baking soda.

5Stir until mixture is crumbly. Set aside 1 cup of crumb mixture for top.

6Press remaining mixture into pan.

7Stir lemon juice into apricot preserves.

8Spread into pan, leaving a 4-inch border around all edges.

9Sprinkle preserves with remaining 1 cup crumb mixture.

10Bake 35 to 40 minutes until browned.
