  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1/2 jar apricot preserves

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks; mix in flour.

    Cover bottom of 8 x 8-inch with 1/2 of mixture.

    Spread on preserves and nuts. Top with other 1/2 of mixture.

    Cook for about 40 minutes or until brown in 350° oven.

    Cut into squares.
