  • 2/3 c. dried apricots
  • 1/2 c. soft butter
  • 1/4 c confectioners sugar
  • 1 1/3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions

    Rinse apricots; cover with water and boil 10 minutes.

    Drain, cool and chop fine.

    Mix soft butter with sugar and 1 cup sifted flour.

    Pack into layer, covering bottom of greased 8-inch square pan.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
