- 2/3 c. dried apricots
- 1/2 c. soft butter
- 1/4 c confectioners sugar
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Rinse apricots; cover with water and boil 10 minutes.

2Drain, cool and chop fine.

3Mix soft butter with sugar and 1 cup sifted flour.

4Pack into layer, covering bottom of greased 8-inch square pan.

5Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
