- 1 c. diced dried apricots
- 1/2 c. golden raisins
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
- dash of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
Directions

1Snip apricots into 4 to 5 pieces each.

2Cook apricots and raisins in 2 cups water until soft and mushy, about 5 minutes.

3Add sugar, spices, salt and margarine.

4Mix and cool.

5Add eggs, flour and soda.

6Stir well with wooden spoon.

7Grease, flour and wax paper line loaf pans.

8Bake at 350° for 55 minutes, or until done with toothpick test.
