- 1/2 c. dried apricots
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Soak apricots 1/2 hour.

2Drain and grind.

3Beat eggs until light.

4Sift flour with baking powder, soda and salt.

5Add alternately with orange juice and water.

6Add nuts and apricots. Mix well.

7Pour batter into well-greased loaf pan.

8Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours.
