  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. Grape-Nuts
  • 2/3 c. dried, chopped apricots
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    Stir in cereal and apricots.

    Blend milk, egg and oil.

    Add flour mixture, stirring until moistened.

    Pour into greased pans, 9 x 5-inch and bake at 350° for 1 hour; 2 smaller pans about 40 to 45 minutes.
