- 1 c. dried apricots
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Soak apricots in warm water to cover, at least 1/2 hour. Drain and wipe dry.

2Cut into quarters.

3Blend and combine sugar, butter and egg.

4Stir in water and orange juice.

5Add dry ingredients.

6Place in 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, greased and floured. Bake at 350° about 1 hour.
