Ingredients
- 1/2 c. dried apricots
- 1/2 c. dates or raisins
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. milk or orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
Directions

1Soak apricots 15 minutes in hot water to cover.

2Cut up apricots and dates.

3Sift dry ingredients together and mix with fruit and nuts.

4Add liquids and beat well.

5Turn into greased loaf pan and let stand 15 minutes.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done when tested with toothpick.
