  • 1 c. dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 3/4 c. orange juice
  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. walnuts, chopped

Directions

    Soak apricots in 1 cup water for 30 minutes; drain well.

    Mix egg, sugar and melted butter.

    Combine dry ingredients to sugar mixture alternately with orange juice.

    Fold in apricots and nuts. Pour into greased and floured bread pan.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
