- 4 c. sliced apricots (fresh or frozen)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
- pastry for double crust pie
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1In large bowl, sprinkle apricots with lemon juice.

2Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg.

3Add sugar mixture to apricots; toss to coat fruit.

4Fill a pastry-lined 9-inch pie plate with apricot mixture; dot with butter.

5Put on top crust.

6Seal and flute edge. Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.

7Check to see if crust is browning. If brown, cover edges with foil and bake at 375° for another 25 minutes until golden brown.

8Cool on rack before serving.
