- 1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 2 1/4 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 (12 oz.) can apricot nectar
- 3/4 c. hot water
- 1/4 tsp. orange flavoring
- 2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine brown sugar with cornstarch, salt and cinnamon in a saucepan.

2Add apricot nectar, hot water, orange flavoring and grated orange rind.

3Bring to full boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

4Add butter and chopped pecans.

5Pour over sweet potatoes until covered, if desired.

6Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Keep in refrigerator.
