- 1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated (2 c.)
- 1/2 lb. ground sausage (Owens or similar)
- 1/8 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
- 1 pkg. pork Shake 'n Bake
- 1 can jalapeno peppers (remove stems and seeds)
Directions

1Upon removal of stems and seeds, stuff with finely grated Monterey Jack cheese.

2Make dough with Cheddar cheese, Bisquick and sausage (works best if you use your hands to make dough

3stick together).

4Pinch enough dough to wrap each stuffed pepper.

5Roll in the Shake 'n Bake and place on cookie sheet.

6Put in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.

7Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

8Makes about 24.

9If peppers are large, cut them to your preferred size.
