- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen artichoke hearts, thawed
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 4 Tbsp. sweet Vermouth
- 1 (16 oz.) can chopped tomatoes
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and drained
- garlic (fresh or powder)
- black pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Place the artichoke hearts in the bottom of a baking dish.

3Place chicken breasts on top of artichokes.

4Season lightly with garlic and pepper. Lay bacon slices on top of chicken and spoon Vermouth over all.

5Bake for 40 minutes, draining excess liquid.

6Combine the tomatoes and cheese and spoon over the chicken.

7Add more garlic, pepper and Vermouth if desired.

8Bake for 20 minutes. Makes 4 servings. Serve over rice with a green salad.
