Artichoke Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. grated parmesan cheese
  • dash garlic powder (optional)
  • dash of salt (optional)
  • lemon juice (optional)

Directions

    Drain artichokes well.

    Squeeze out all the juice.

    Break artichokes into small pieces and add mayonnaise, parmesan cheese and green chilies.

    Mix well.

    Add any optional ingredients at this point.

    Place in shallow baking dish (one that can be served in) and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until brown on top.

    Blot excessive oil with paper towels.

    Serve hot with king size Fritos, Melba toast rounds or other crackers.
