- 4 cornish game hens
- 1/2 pound mushrooms fresh
- 1 cup rice regular uncooked
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Wash hens and pat dry.

3Saute margarine and mushrooms.

4Add chicken broth and rice.

5Boil and cover; reduce heat and cook 20 minutes.

6Stuff hens with rice mixture.

7Place breast side up.

8Brush with margarine.

9Bake 1 - 1/2 hours, brushing with margarine every 20 minutes.

10The last 15 minutes, in saucepan, put sugar, soy sauce, ginger and cornstarch.

11Bring to a boil.

12Brush hens with mixture and put in oven for 20 minutes longer.
