  • 2 x 3 1/4 ounce packs blanched whole almonds
  • 7 ounce Dry roasted cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Margarine or possibly butter
  • 1 tsp Five-spice pwdr
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic pwdr

Directions

    Place nuts in jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch.

    Mix soy sauce and water; drizzle over nuts, tossing to distribute proportionately.

    Dot with margarine.

    Bake uncovered in 350F oven 10 min.

    Mix five-spice pwdr and garlic pwdr; sprinkle over nuts.

    Bake uncovered, stirring occasionally, till golden, 8 to 10 min longer.
