  • 2 cans asparagus, drained
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • seasoned bread crumbs

Directions

    Saute onion in oleo until brown.

    Add flour, salt and pepper. Cook until blended.

    Add sour cream but do not let mixture come to a boil.

    Place asparagus in a shallow baking dish and cover with sour cream mixture.

    Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
