- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3 oz. Blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 can asparagus spears, drained
- 1 to 2 sticks butter
- Pepperidge Farm thin sliced bread
Directions

1Mix cream cheese with Blue cheese and egg until well blended. Trim crusts from bread, allowing one slice of bread per spear of asparagus.

2Flatten bread with rolling pin.

3Spread each slice with the cream cheese mixture.

4Place an asparagus spear on each slice and roll up.

5Cut each roll into thirds.

6Dip in the melted butter.

7(May be frozen at this stage.)

8Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

9Bake 30 minutes or until browned, if frozen.
