  • 3 cans cut asparagus
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • sliced olives
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 heaping Tbsp. flour
  • 2 2/3 c. milk
  • cheese, if desired
  • buttered toast crumbs

Directions

    In long Pyrex dish, put in layers asparagus, eggs and olives. Make a white sauce of the butter, flour and milk; add cheese if desired.

    Cover asparagus mixture with white sauce and put buttered toast crumbs on top.

    Bake in 350° oven for 30 or 40 minutes until brown.
