- 2 cans asparagus
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. asparagus liquid
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
- bread crumbs
- paprika
- toasted almonds or pecans
Directions

1Melt chunks of sharp cheese in liquid mixture of milk and asparagus liquid.

2In casserole, layer asparagus, and egg slices for 2 layers.

3Thicken cheese liquid with flour.

4Add salt and pour over casserole.

5Sprinkle with bread crumbs, paprika and toasted nuts.
