Asparagus Casserole

  • 5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 2 to 3 c. asparagus
  • 5 slices cheese
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Put sliced potatoes in a lightly greased baking dish. Top with diced onions. Then arrange asparagus on top of this (canned or fresh can be used). Dot with butter; add salt and pepper. Bake 45 to 60 minutes in 325° oven until potatoes are tender. Layer cheese on top and let melt before serving.
