- 1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 c. cracker or bread crumbs
- 2 c. small curd cottage cheese
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 4 c. fresh asparagus
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil
- 1/4 c. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried parsley flakes
- paprika
Directions

1Combine Parmesan cheese and crumbs.

2Pat into a greased 10-inch pie pan or 2-quart baking dish.

3Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese, Cheddar cheese and eggs. Stir in asparagus, basil, garlic powder and parsley flakes. Refrigerate for 15 to 30 minutes.

4Pour egg mixture over crumb crust.

5Smooth top.

6Sprinkle with paprika.

7Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
