- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 lb. fresh asparagus, cut in pieces, cooked
- 2 or more c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 1/4 lb. grated sharp cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- chopped pimiento
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. corn muffin mix
Directions

1Melt butter in an 8-inch square pan; drain asparagus, reserving 1/2 cup asparagus liquid.

2Arrange asparagus in butter; add chicken.

3Sprinkle with the cheese.

4Prepare muffin mix according to package directions.

5Carefully spoon mixture on top of cheese.

6Bake in a 400° oven 30 minutes or until muffin top is brown.
