  • 1 can English peas, drained
  • 1 can asparagus, drained
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • grated Cheddar cheese for topping
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3 slices bread

Directions

    Arrange in following layers in casserole dish:

    peas, asparagus, mushroom soup and water chestnuts.

    Top with grated cheese.

    Cube bread and soak in melted margarine.

    Lay bread cubes on top and bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
