- 1 baked pie shell
- 4 cups cooked asparagus
- 3 hardboiled egg, diced coarse
- 1 12 cups shredded medium sharp cheddar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1 tablespoon chives
Directions

1Set oven to 400F Make white sauce by melting 1 tablespoon butter; add flour and stir 1 to 2 minutes.

2Add milk; stir and bring to a boil.

3When it becomes thick, add bouillon, chives and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.

4Once the cheese melts, add asparagus and eggs.

5Season to taste with salt and pepper.

6Pour into baked pie shell.

7Top with remaining cheese.

8Bake at 400F for 10 to 15 minutes.
