  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 4 cups cooked asparagus
  • 3 hardboiled egg, diced coarse
  • 1 12 cups shredded medium sharp cheddar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 tablespoon chives

Directions

    Set oven to 400F Make white sauce by melting 1 tablespoon butter; add flour and stir 1 to 2 minutes.

    Add milk; stir and bring to a boil.

    When it becomes thick, add bouillon, chives and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.

    Once the cheese melts, add asparagus and eggs.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper.

    Pour into baked pie shell.

    Top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 400F for 10 to 15 minutes.
