  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can asparagus or 1 lb. asparagus, cooked and drained
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded or combination of Swiss and Cheddar

Directions

    Put asparagus on bottom of an 8 or 9-inch pie plate.

    Beat together milk and eggs.

    Add rest of ingredients and pour over the asparagus.

    Bake in 325° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center of quiche comes out clean.
