- 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can asparagus or 1 lb. asparagus, cooked and drained
- 5 eggs
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese, shredded or combination of Swiss and Cheddar
Directions

1Put asparagus on bottom of an 8 or 9-inch pie plate.

2Beat together milk and eggs.

3Add rest of ingredients and pour over the asparagus.

4Bake in 325° oven for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center of quiche comes out clean.
