- 4 oz. asparagus
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 5 large eggs
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1 (10-inch) pie shell
Directions

1Cook asparagus in salted water until tender; drain.

2Cool and cut into 1/2-inch pieces.

3Place Swiss cheese in bottom of raw pie crust.

4Arrange asparagus on top of cheese.

5Blend eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.

6Pour slowly over asparagus and cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.

7Test with knife for doneness. Cool 5 to 7 minutes before cutting.
