- 1 loaf thin sliced Pepperidge Farm white bread
- 1 can asparagus spears
- 4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
- 8 oz. softened cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 lb. butter, melted
Directions

1Trim crusts from bread.

2With rolling pin, roll bread as thin as possible.

3With electric mixer, mix thoroughly the grated Cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese and egg.

4Spread mixture on bread.

5Put 1 asparagus spear on each slice of bread and roll up. (One can of asparagus spears yields about 15 to 22 spears.)

6Roll each in melted butter.

7Freeze!

8While frozen, slice in thirds and bake until crisp, for approximately 30 minutes at 350°.
